Serving as the control module of the CineDrive system, the CineDrive Brain from Kessler Crane is the device where all control commands and data sent by the kOS software are stored and carried out. Housed in a lightweight and durable polycarbonate shell with rubber over-molding for impact resistance, the CineDrive Brain features a 32-bit processor and has three independent control connectors for communicating with Motor Control Boxes or Pan/Tilt Head motors via separately available cables. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to connect to the Brain wirelessly using an iPad to send commands from the kOS iOS app, with an Ethernet port available for wired control from a computer running kOS for Windows. Built-in LED lights let you quickly see the connection status of the device. Additional connectivity includes a power input, SD card slot for manual firmware updates, and a USB port.
